All mods should be fine with TLS (game version 1.24) now.
Anyone who has downloaded "WalkDontRun" since Generations came out will need to redownload it. For some inexplicable reason EA have blocked the tuning I was using, so I've had to override it using a different method. I suspect it has something to do with Pets walk styles being partially implemented in the core to be honest.
All my mods for Sim's 3 will be released here. Including ones still in testing so that I can get a good testing base (if people are willing to BETA test for me)

Regarding Town Life Stuff Compatibility.
At the moment assume everything is working. I haven't actually checked yet, you know how this works, I have to wait for EGC to be updated before I can patch etc.
However based on past experiences Stuff Packs change very little. I can't see anything in the changelist that suggests I will need to remod.

By Request - Stop Being Lazy!
Quick request for Ismaildeath from MTS.
Basically triples the distance at which driving/taking a taxi is a valid option. Vacation Worlds have also been effected. The distance was very short on Vacation anyway, it is now (more or less) the same distance as the original home world distance was.
Edits the "Cars" XML and will conflict with anything that edits the same. Should be a bit of a non-issue though, unless you happen to have a mod that changes what time headlights come on.

Sneaking Out Fix
I've had this for a while, but haven't bothered to publish. Sneaking Out is borked with Generations. Basically if the parents aren't asleep and are anywhere on the lot, then they will notice the kid sneaking out. WTH?
So here's the fix. It was quite easy really, EA just for some reason set the broadcaster to broadcast through walls, I limited it again.

Please click an ad while your here :) It's always appreciated.

Romantic Reputation Recombobulator
Alright.... the Romantic Rep Killer seems to be working fine, so here's the finished version. It's a bit "sledgehammer to a nut" at the moment. I'm fairly certain with a little work, it can actually be fixed. Or at least made bearable.
The current version has 2 versions.
Romantic Rep Recombobulator 50, 25, and 10 reduce the relationship hit of getting caught from -90 to -50 -25 and -10 respectively. It won't change your chances of getting caught. Yet.
Romantic Rep Recombobulator KillAll however will. It effectively completely disables the "Cheater" path of the Romantic Reputation system. All good effects re retained, but you can't get caught, the relationship won't be tanked if you do, and nobody will care anyway. In truth though, you shouldn't get caught in the first place, the other stuff is just there as a failsafe. (Wouldn't be the first time EA code ignores tuning, although all seemed to be working fine in testing)
Update: Version 2 is now available. Version 2 is the first attempt to actually fix the system.

Testers Wanted - The Romantic Rep Killer
So, I ran afoul of the stupid Romantic Reputation today. My Sim danced with a girl at Prom, they became Romantic Interests, but I never pursued it. Then later he got a girlfriend, and she decided to accuse him of cheating, completely tanking the relationship.
So I set out to do something about it.
Presenting, The Romantic Rep Killer.
This Mod should completely eliminate all negative effects of cheating from the Romantic Reputation system. Specifically, your significant other should never accuse you of cheating, no-one should see you cheating, and having a bad reputation will not hit your relationship with new partners.
This is a difficult thing to test by myself, as the chance of getting accused seem's to be a bit random. However if I have done this right, then your reputation should still change, you should still get the positive effects of being faithful, but no negative effects.
There should be no conflicts from this Mod. The resources it overrides are used exclusively for Romantic Rep so the chances of conflicts are pretty much 0.
This is a very early version, so don't be too surprised if not everything works. I haven't even given this a playtest myself yet.
Obviously please report all bugs, or if something isn't working. A detailed description of your Sim's romantic status with all partners (including Romantic Interests) would help. Also, please just don't post if it is working. I need to know that too!

Generations Compatibility.
The votes are in, the mods are done, and the cheese has been eaten.
All mods are now Generations compatible. Free Your Preggo doesn't need an update per se, it just has extra "modules" that can be tacked on if you want them, the old packages will still work fine, and in fact I'd encourage you to use them.
Other than that, the only mod that needed updating was Go For a Walk! Not a Run! which was causing Strollers to break.
Enjoy :)

Alright, I lied.
Forget what I said yesterday. I'm back again. I was out shopping today and wandered into GAME, where I realised saw "The Sims 3 Generations" Yeah, I couldn't resist. So updates are coming. Soon, tonight, or possibly tomorrow, depending on how lazy I'm feeling.

I'm not dead.
Massive apologies for the lack of updates and news lately.
Real world stuff has cut into my Simming time to the point where I haven't played at all. As all of my mods are stuff that I've made for myself, I haven't had an incentive to update.
At the moment all production is suspended, until such a time that I have time to start Simming again.
Have a good one.

OLS compatibility.
Good News!
Thank's to my wonderful girlfriend, I have managed to get my hands on the relevant data for the 1.19 patch. As Baxim still hasn't updated CORE I have been unable to patch.
As suspected, EA changed nothing XML wise that I can see. Or at least, nothing that I have modded. So all Mod's are OLS compatible apart from Family Day Out (production suspended) and Simcredible Toilets (will not work for LN toilets, all other toilets will work fine.)

Copyright and Sharing Policy plus Disclaimer.
It has come to my attention, that as this blog is now starting to get quite a bit of traffic, that I need to put some sort of rules on sharing, as some of my stuff is being used in ways I don't particularly like much. I apologise for the long list, but a quick google of my stuff (yeah I was bored) showed that alot of it was ending up on paysites, or links were only available to registered members of paysites.
These rules (where applicable) also apply to my stuff on MTS, I have changed my creator policies on there, so make sure you check there too. (Although it gets a bit hazy there, as they are also bound by MTS' copyright rules, so make sure you check their rules too.)
Due to the wonderful way that British copyright law works, as the creator I own the rights (excluding parts already copyrighted by EA or other parties.) for life plus 10 years. All of my creations are distributed as Freeware. This means that you should never have to pay a fee for anything I have made.
I expressly forbid uploading anything I have created to a payware site without my permission. Likewise I forbid bundling anything I have created with content that requires a fee to download (commonly called payware)
If you want to share any of my creations, do not bundle them with your own creations, or upload them to any sites. Instead link to the page with the description and the download link. All of my creations are either uploaded onto www.modthesims.info or severedsolo.blogspot.com (via 3rd party file sharing websites, which will always be linked to from the blog) if you have obtained any of my creations from elsewhere then please let me know, by contacting severedsolo@gmail.com.
If you wish to use my creations as a basis for your own work, and you intend to share it, then you must first obtain my permission. You must also credit me with a link to the original creation and make it clear that you have used my work as a baseline.
While I do offer support for my creations, all of my creations are presented "As is" and I accept no responsibility for any adverse effects they may have on your computer, your game, or the universe as a whole.

News: Patch 1.19 and other stuff.
At the moment, I cannot check whether any of my Mod's are OLS compatible. This will remain the case until Baxim updates his CORE. I honestly do not see the point of patching at the moment, as EA didn't actually change anything anyway, and I hate playing the game without CORE.
If someone with the latest patch would like to upload their GamePlayData package from their latest expansion/stuff pack then I will quite happily take a look.
Also, while looking through some game files earlier, I discovered that Easier/Harder Homeshot Design LTW is actually incompatible with CORE. Therefore, as of today, I will be dropping support for that particular mod. Happily this shouldn't matter, as I don't anticipate EA changing an XML that should never need changing. (All it does is tweaks figures on LTW's so I don't think they will change that.)
For those of you waiting for an update for Simcredible Toilets. I am trying to track down the resource for the "Common Commode" which is (I think) the only toilet which isn't Simcredible at the moment. It doesn't appear to be with the other toilets though, but I'm trying to find it.
"Family Day Out" production has been suspended, due to a lack of progress with the rabbitholes. If someone expresses an interest in it, even with rabbitholes not working, I will consider an update. Otherwise, consider it dead.

No Vampire Turning/ Vampires are born not made.
Might as well post this, as I have gone to the trouble to make it.
Basically this Mod turns off the "ask to turn" and the "offer to turn" interactions, effectively you can only get a Vampire through Try For Baby with a Vampire, not asking them to turn you.
I actually made it for brillopad over at MTS, he/she asked for some help with disabling the interactions, and as I actually had to do it to see whether it would work, I uploaded it to the post.
The Mod edits the "Socialization" XML and will conflict with any mod that edits the same. (Which is ALOT of Mods)
It can be got from here: http://modthesims.info/showpost.php?p=3439436&postcount=2

Bug Report - All Ages NPC's
It has been brought to my attention that the "All Teen" package of All Ages NPC's has a serious flaw.
Basically, it seems that the Teen Burglar and the Teen Police Officer don't play nice together (for some reason). This issue is a game breaker, so please upgrade asap.
A temporary stopgap fix has been issued on the MTS download page, along with more details on the bug.
Also on the download page are details of a (smaller and non game breaking) issue with the workaround I have issued for the time being until I can figure out exactly what is wrong with it.

Bridgeport - The Vacation World.
Like Bridgeport? Fed up of boring holidays to the middle of nowhere? Send your Sim's to this years number 1 tourist destination - Bridgeport!
Yes thats right people, this is Bridgeport, the subhood. This is a default replacement for one of your Vacation Worlds. Therefore obviously you will need World Adventures and Late Night to play it. and you will lose the use of the Vacation World you choose to replace.
There are a few quirks with it, and as such it won't be uploaded to MTS yet, as it isn't in a completely finished state, but if you don't mind spending 2 minutes setting it up, then it works fine.
Installation:
1) Navigate to your World Adventures Vacation Worlds Directory (on Windows this is C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 World Adventures\GameData\Shared\NonPackaged\Worlds)
2) Backup the World you intend to replace somewhere else, like My Documents, as your game will probably whinge when you go to patch otherwise.
3) Delete the World you have just backed up from the NonPackaged\Worlds directory.
4) Copy the Bridgeport.world you just downloaded into NonPackaged\Worlds and rename it to whatever world you just deleted (China.world, Egypt.world or France.world)
4) If you want to use the world in your saved games you already have then go to Documents\Electronic Arts\Sims 3\Saves\<Save Name> and delete (whateverworld)TravelDB.package
5) The first time your Sims travel to Bridgeport you will be thrown onto the Game Setup Screen. From here, go into Edit Town and change a lot into a Base Camp (Community Lot) you can select any lot you want for this, I normally just pick an empty apartment block.
6) Click "Return to Game Setup" the game will then ask you to pick a household (like you started a new game)
7) Click "Choose Household" and select any household you want. When the game loads, it will be your Sims you sent on Vacation you will be playing as, and they will be at the Base Camp.
Bugs and errata:
As previously mentioned, this is a Default Replacement. This means that the game thinks that it is the world you have sent them to (Shang Simla, Al Simhara, Champ Les Sims) Therefore a few oddities will appar, this is what I have noticed so far (I use Bridgeport as my replacement for France)
Sims will sing the songs of the world they think they are, in my case, Locals were singing French Songs.
Sims will ride the "Taxi" Mode of transport for that world (scooters and bikes) NOT actual Taxi's
The Food Truck will not appear (as it is no longer a city, it is a Vacation World)
You will get Adventures related to the appropriate world if you go for them (when you make your Base Camp it will whack an Adventures Board outside) In my case I was seeing adventures asking for Nectar and stuff. Not sure if it asks you to enter Tombs that don't exist, I haven't seen any yet, but France doesn't have that many tombs.
Unless you improve your Visa, you are still restricted to 3 days (although in my testing, it seemed if I saved and quit, I got all 3 days back when I reloaded, can't confirm this wasn't a fluke though)
All Explorers will try to use whatever building you assign as Base Camp, this means that if you assign a 1 bed apartment (like I did) you will have to kick Sim's out of bed when you want to sleep.
As ever, feedback is appreciated, and I will upload a more "Polished" version when I have it done.
